Natural Health Care in Pioneer Square

Naturopathic Medicine

Naturopathic medicine is a primary health care system that emphasizes the human body’s innate ability to heal itself given the right conditions. Naturopathic physicians use safe and effective natural therapies to address the underlying causes of illness while educating and encouraging patients to become active participants in maintaining their optimum health.

Naturopathic physicians are licensed primary care providers in the state of Washington and are trained at four-year, graduate-level accredited medical schools. In addition to two years of basic medical sciences and 2-3 years of clinical sciences, naturopathic education includes physical medicine, botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, pharmacology and minor surgery.
